Senspire is a specialised gymnastics programme designed for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Our sessions focus on building confidence, coordination, and physical development in a supportive and inclusive environment where every child can progress at their own pace.
What is SENspire?
Senspire is our dedicated SEN gymnastics programme at Gymspire Academy, created to support children who benefit from a more personalised and understanding learning environment.
Our sessions are carefully structured to help children develop movement skills, coordination, strength, and confidence through fun and engaging gymnastics activities. We focus on creating a calm, welcoming atmosphere where children feel safe to explore, learn and succeed.
Every child is different, and our coaching approach reflects that. Activities are adapted to suit individual needs, ensuring that each child can take part in a way that works best for them.

Hello, my name is Rhys!
I am a dedicated Gymnastics Coach and Special Educational Needs Gymnastics Coach with over 10 years of coaching experience. Throughout my career, I have focused on creating a positive and encouraging environment where every gymnast can grow in confidence, strength, and skill at their own pace.
Working with children who have special educational needs has been an important part of my life long before it became my profession. Growing up with a sister who had special needs gave me a deep understanding of patience, empathy, and the importance of individualized support.
This personal experience, combined with my professional coaching background, allows me to adapt each session to meet every child’s unique abilities, learning style, and comfort level.
My goal as a coach is simple: to help every gymnast feel safe, supported, and proud of their progress—whether they are learning basic movement skills, building confidence, or developing their gymnastics ability.
